Birds Of A Feather

Our first graders are learning about animals. Last week, we focused on birds. Students went from station to station using different types of beaks to see how bird beaks are used in different ways. The word adaptation is a key vocabulary word as we learn about animal survival. Adaptation means how an organisms body and behavior changes to survive.
